Erik ten Hag has reportedly held 'multiple video calls' with Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund over a possible summer transfer.
Manchester United are in dire need of a new number nine, with Wout Weghorst unable to fill the void left behind by Cristiano Ronaldo.
While Anthony Martial, who has been Ten Hag's first-choice when fit this season, could be on his way out of Old Trafford this summer.

Harry Kane is allegedly United's priority transfer target, although it remains to be seen if Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy would sanction a sale to a direct Premier League rival.
In turn, Hojlund has emerged as a potential addition, with Ten Hag seemingly very keen on acquiring the 20-year-old's signature.
Hojlund to Man Utd?
According to the Manchester Evening News, Ten Hag "has held multiple video calls" with Hojlund, as the Red Devils boss eyes a summer swoop.

And in a boost to United's transfer chances, The Athletic claim that Hojlund has signed up with the SEG agency in anticipation of a move at some stage in his short to medium-term future.
Ten Hag is also represented by SEG, while the agency’s co-founder Kees Voss is thought to be a regular at Old Trafford, even watching United's win over Fulham on Sunday from the director's box.
Although the Manchester Evening News state that Hojlund hasn't joined the agency yet, with SEG still trying to acquire the player.
The 6ft 3in Dane has struck 15 goals across all competitions in just his first season with Atalanta, having only joined the Serie A side from Austrian side Sturm Graz last year.

While he has plundered a frightening five goals in his last two games for Denmark.
United are also said to be in contact with Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani, who has impressed in Germany this campaign.
However, Hojlund is seen as a far more affordable option, with Frankfurt expected to demand as much as €80million (£68.7million) for Kolo Muani.
