A compilation of Raheem Sterling spurning big chances for Manchester City has emerged after the winger’s controversial interview last week.
Sterling moved to Chelsea this summer in a deal worth a reported £47.5 million. Recently, he spoke about his frustrations towards the back end of his time as a City player.
He told Sky Sports: “Everyone wants to feel wanted, football is no different. When you play your heart out, sacrifice some of your kids' birthdays, and then get treated in a certain way, it's disappointing.

“At the time I was fuming, raging, but it's gone, it's in the past and I can only focus on the present, which is now, here at Chelsea, and the opportunity I've got here to go out and showcase my talents once again.”
Sterling also outlined the main reasons behind his exit.
He added: “Misunderstandings, contracts running down. It was a shame to see how it ended in the end because I had such a great time there.

“A lot of things came into play, a lot of reasons, but I wasn't complaining, I was ready to challenge and, as you can see, even with some of the performances I put in, you couldn't guarantee yourself a place so it just didn't make sense to fight a battle you can never win.”
On the back of this interview, many City fans were unhappy with the way Sterling spoke about his time at the club. And now, fans have posted a compilation of the England man missing huge chances to score. The footage was posted on Twitter with a caption that read: “Sterling complained about not getting game time at City then does this whenever he does.”
The video included Sterling missing open nets against the likes of Liverpool, Burnley and Wolves.

Fans were quick to react to Sterling’s recent comments and to the video.
One fan said: “He fumbled when they needed him the most.”
Another added: “Sterling moaned about game time but then went missing when the team needed him to turn up in the big matches.”
A third fan said: “This interview is EXACTLY why blues all love seeing Zinchenko & Jesus blossom but really couldn’t care less what Sterling does.”

The 27-year-old has started all of Chelsea’s league games so far this season, however, he is yet to score his first competitive goal for the Stamford Bridge club.
On Sunday, Chelsea produced a dismal performance as they lost 3-0 to Leeds. It has been a difficult start for Thomas Tuchel and his men as they are 12th in the Premier League table, five points adrift of leaders Arsenal.
Chelsea will now face Leicester City this weekend at Stamford Bridge.
