Richard Keys hit out at Conor Gallagher during Manchester City vs. Chelsea, sending social media into overdrive.
Gallagher was in Chelsea's starting XI for their clash at the Etihad on Saturday.
And his appearance didn't go down well with former Sky Sports host Keys, who slammed the England midfielder's wardrobe choice.

Gallagher wore socks with two larges cut in the back of each sock.
Players often cut a number of holes in the back of their socks to protect muscles in the calf.
The holes allow for tension in their legs to be released and reduces the probability of cramps and muscle injuries.

Jude Bellingham wears socks with holes in the back, which actually violates La Liga rules.
Keys took exception to Gallagher's socks and referenced Bellingham as he wants the Premier League to act.
On X, he wrote: "Enough of this nonsense. There’s no need for it. The Spanish have outlawed it (although Bellingham gets away with it). It’s time we did."

A second tweeted: "Imagine being a guy that gets angry over how another man wears socks."
A third added: "This might be the most 'yer da' tweet ever."
A fourth said: "Had to click on his profile to see it weren’t a parody account. Not sure why I doubted he wouldn’t be fuming with something so daft."
Another commented: "Ah yes, incredibly insightful punditry."
The points were shared as Man City and Chelsea played out a 1-1 draw.
Raheem Sterling scored against his old side to open the scoring, with Rodri levelling proceedings in the 83rd minute.
