Champions League winner Rhian Brewster was sent off for a shocking challenge late on in Sheffield United's 2-2 draw with West Ham on Sunday.
The 23-year-old was part of the Liverpool squad that won the Champions League in 2019, but in the years since he has failed to live up to his huge potential.
Sheffield United signed Brewster from Liverpool for £23.5 million in October, during the club's previous spell in the Premier League.

The promising attacker failed to register a single goal or assist as his new club suffered relegation to the Championship, and he missed large chunks of the following two seasons due to hamstring injuries.
Brewster's struggles at Bramall Lane were summed up perfectly in the 93rd minute of Sheffield United's 2-2 draw with West Ham on Sunday, when he got himself sent off for a two-footed lunge on Irons' left-back Emerson.
The striker - who was only introduced from the bench in the 80th minute - was initially shown a yellow card by referee Andrew Madley, but the VAR soon advised the official to check the pitchside monitor.

Madley quickly overturned the yellow in favour of a red, and Brewster was sent down the tunnel.
West Ham were reduced to 10 men minutes later when Vladimir Coufal received his second booking, before Brewster's blushes were spared when Oli McBurnie buried a late penalty to rescue a point for the Premier League strugglers.

The home side were awarded an injury-time spot kick when goalkeeper Alphonse Areola took out McBurnie as the pair fought for a cross.
During a five-minute injury stoppage David Moyes replaced Areola with penalty specialist Lukasz Fabianski, but the Pole was unable to keep out McBurnie's effort.
McBurnie's effort hit the back of the net in the 103rd minute of the match, making it the latest goal in Premier League history.
Despite the point, Chris Wilder's side remain rooted to the foot of the Premier League table with just 10 points from 21 games.
