Mark Goldbridge says Wrexham have a BETTER chance of winning the Premier League title before Tottenham.

Ange Postecoglou is now at the helm of Spurs, and he's led the club to seven points from their opening three league games, notably beating Manchester United.

At this very early stage, they sit in third place in the table - behind leaders Manchester City and West Ham United.

Wrexham, meanwhile, occupy 16th place in League Two, having returned to the Football League after winning the National League last season.

The Welsh outfit, who are owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, have enjoyed a meteoric rise following their blockbuster takeover.

So much so, Man United fan Goldbridge believes Wrexham have a better chance of lifting the Premier League trophy BEFORE Spurs.

"But to my point is... who will win the Premier League first, Wrexham or Spurs?" He said.

"I'm not doing this to wind Spurs fans up. I genuinely think an intelligent person can what I'm talking about.

"Wrexham have a better chance of winning the title before Spurs. Yes, it's going to take five or six years for Wrexham to go... their trajectory is like an airline."

Reynolds has lofty ambitions for Wrexham as he wants to the club to reach England's top flight.

Speaking before his side's promotion to League Two, he said: "We want to walk the walk, even as a fifth-tier club. We say this all the time, but we want to be in the Premier League, as crazy as that sounds to some people.

"If it is theoretically possible to go from the fifth tier in professional football all the way to the Premier League, why wouldn't we do that?

"Why wouldn't we use our last drop of blood to get there? We're in it for the ride. This is a multidecade project."

Who has a better chance of winning the league title? Let us know.
