Jose Mourinho is now the odds-on favourite to replace a Premier League manager, according to the latest bookmakers' odds.

Mourinho is currently the manager of Fenerbahce following his appointment last summer.

But a move away from Turkey could be on the cards judging by the bookmakers' odds.

Mourinho, who hasn't managed in the Premier League since his spell with Tottenham, is the odds-on favourite to replace Sean Dyche at Everton.

BetVictor have made Mourinho the 8/11 favourite to take over from Dyche, who is facing the sack following Everton's latest setback against Bournemouth.

Everton’s new owners The Friedkin Group are considering the Englishman's future following last weekend's 1-0 defeat.

Former Brighton and Chelsea boss Graham Potter is the second favourite but he's widely reported to be on his way to West Ham United to replace Julen Lopetegui.

Ex-Everton gaffer David Moyes, Edin Terzic and Thomas Frank are among the other candidates thought to be in the frame.

The Portuguese, however, is believed to The Friedkin Group's No.1 choice if they decide to part ways with Dyche, who has been at the helm since January 2023.

Mourinho enjoyed great success at Chelsea following the job he done at Porto, where he won the Champions League.

He had another spell at Stamford Bridge and has also managed Manchester United and Spurs in England.

A fourth English club could be in the offing, with the 61-year-old asked whether he'd manage teams fighting in the Premier League.

"Millwall. Millwall. I just cross the bridge from my house! Millwall," he answered.

Mourinho added: “I’m never going to a team fighting relegation. It’s too hard.

"It’s more difficult than playing for titles. It has to be very hard emotionally because it’s something that changes lives."

He continued: "I think it’s brave guys that do it. I had three clubs in England, four different periods and I love it.

"My family lives in London. London is home so one day I have to be back unless no one wants me.

"But don’t get me wrong, for the next two years no one will take me from Fenerbahce."
