Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher have been tasked with picking their dream Premier League five-a-side teams - and there were plenty of disagreements involved.

The Sky Sports pundits joined up with NOW TV to pick their top five players in the history of Premier League football - that would fit into a five-a-side.

And the Manchester United and Liverpool legends started off by agreeing with each other on the goalkeeping spot, picking Neville's former team-mate Peter Schmeichel between the sticks.

Explaining his choice, Neville said: "Schmeichel's just unbelievable in goal, you just can't get past him."

Carragher agreed, adding: "The best goalkeeper in the Premier League."

Neville then added fellow United icons Roy Keane and Wayne Rooney to his team, with his colleague noticing the United theme and exclaiming: "Is this a wind-up?"

Manchester City legend Kevin De Bruyne slotted in alongside Keane in central midfield, with Cristiano Ronaldo joining Rooney up front to complete the team of five players.

Neville explained: "There's a bit of thought behind this.

"Wayne Rooney - best attacker, best passer, best defender. Roy Keane - best defender, best tackler, best passer. He can do everything."

Carragher then moved on to his team, and chose former Chelsea captain John Terry as his solitary defender.

He agreed with Neville's choice of Keane, adding his own former Liverpool team-mate Steven Gerrard in midfield.

The team was completed by none other than legendary Arsenal forward Thierry Henry.

The former centre-back rattled off his picks much quicker than Neville did, having chosen all five of his players by the time the ex-United right-back had named three.

And Carragher remarked: "You're taking this long over five, imagine what you were like [picking 11] at Valencia!"

Neville then questioned: "Who did I have in?", before adding Ronaldo to his list of five iconic Premier League players.
