Bernardo Silva will NEVER win the prestigious Ballon d'Or because 'you have to be on social media', says Pep Guardiola.
Silva has starred for Manchester City this season and has become one of Pep Guardiola's main men, having recorded goals and assists in the Premier League and the Champions League.

So far, he has 10 goals in all competitions - with Ze Roberto hailing the Portuguese ace as the best player in the world right now.
Guardiola appreciates the Brazil legend showering one of his players with praise, but he's unsure with the lofty claim.
What's more, the Man City boss believes Silva will never win the coveted individual prize because 'you have to be on social media' - despite the star player being able to do 'everything'.
On Ze Roberto's praise of Silva, he told Sky Sports: "Coming from Ze Roberto, I like it because he was one of my favourite players when playing in Germany. He was still a top quality player at 40."

Guardiola added: "I don't know if Bernardo is the best player in the world and I don't care. What I see is an incredibly nice guy.
"It is a joy to work with him. Offensively and defensively, he can do everything that you can do.
"[But] he is never going to win the Ballon d'Or because you have to be on social media, you have to not just win but score a lot of goals and Bernardo does not have that quality.
"If one day it will happen I would love it, I would be happy for him like any other player that we have here that one day would win the Ballon d'Or.

"I would be more than grateful to experience that award with him. For me, as a manager, he can do everything."
Silva's incredible form comes after he was strongly linked with a move away from England last summer.
Man City reportedly offered him to Tottenham in a potential deal for Harry Kane, but after the move broke down - Silva remained at the club.

He hasn't looked back having become one of the standout performers in the league.
