Patrice Evra picked between Manchester United players past and present - and Nemanja Vidic over Harry Maguire was his quickest and easiest selection by far.
The former United left-back posted a video of his Instagram page where he compared the players, starting with Edwin van der Sar and David De Gea - two goalkeepers he played alongside.

It was "tough' for Evra to pick between the two but he ultimately went for Van der Sar, who he described as "the main man".
And then he pitted Raphael Varane and Rio Ferdinand against one another - ultimately opting for the latter, who he says could finish the game and his "shorts and shirt will still look clean".
But the second centre-back duel involving former skipper Vidic and current captain Maguire was a much simpler one for Evra.

"No... Vidic," he replied.
"Nemanja the soldier. Vidic, [he is] someone you know, he will put his head where you are even scared to put your foot. So this is not even like a question."
"You can't compare" and "disrespectful" was the response for Marcus Rashford vs Cristiano Ronaldo and instead did a head-to-head between the different versions of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner - the tricky old Ronaldo against the "goal machine" current iteration.

Evra, who won five Premier League titles, has been critical of his former club in various TV appearances and also on social media.
In October 2020, after seeing United succumb to a 6-1 defeat at home to Spurs, he slammed Maguire.
"To be honest, no," he replied when asked if United are able to compete for trophies.
"The captain, Harry Maguire. How many years has he been here? Just one and he’s the captain. It shows you we don’t have any leaders to win trophies.”
