Wayne Rooney has hilariously called out his former Manchester United teammates, saying Cristiano Ronaldo is 'f***ing annoying' and Rio Ferdinand is 'arrogant.'
Even if you like all your colleagues, then there's a good chance there's something about them that drives you a bit mad, and it's likely the same story at football clubs across the world.
Rooney, who got inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame last week, has now revealed a couple of things he didn't like about two teammates that he's always seemingly got on pretty well with.
United's all time top scorer has hilariously given his 'honest' assessment of Ronaldo and Ferdinand, digging out the pair for their behaviour when they were all at Old Trafford together.
"Cristiano was so good and so f***ing annoying at the same time," Rooney told a black tie dinner in Manchester on Sunday, via the Sun.
"He is probably not as good now but he is probably just as annoying."
Ronaldo became a pantomime villain in England, outside of United's 'Theatre of Dreams' at least, when he helped get his club teammate sent off in the World Cup in 2006.
Rooney stamped on Ricardo Carvalho, after the defender had fouled him, and Ronaldo was straight over to the referee demanding he show a red card, before winking to his bench once the card was produced.
On that incident the former England captain added, "He likes diving.
"I had no issue with Cristiano whatsoever. I spoke to him in the tunnel. I said, 'I have no issue with you getting me sent off', because I'd spent the first half trying to get him booked for diving.
"I am English, he is Portuguese. When we are playing I do not give a f*** about him. He is not my mate. But when we have finished, we are mates again."
It wasn't just the former Real Madrid star on the end of Rooney's sharpe tongue, with the Derby County manager also turning his attention to Ferdinand.
"Rio is a top player, but he is just arrogant," Rooney said of the former centre back.
"You get paid a lot of money at Man United to kick the ball into the net, so just do it. I said: 'Do your job, and give me the ball, give Ronaldo the ball. Stop standing there messing about.'
"Rio is a top lad but he sometimes did forget he was a defender."
Imagine what Rooney says about people he doesn't like!
