Roy Keane once lost it with a Manchester United canteen lady over the kitchen running out of butter.
The former United skipper is known for demanding the absolute best on the pitch, bringing that no-nonsense approach to punditry after his playing and managerial exploits.
But it's a mentality he applies to all departments - particularly when it comes to his food. According to former United goalkeeper Luke Steele, Keane gave a dressing down to a woman in the United kitchen.
There was a shortage of butter for his toast and Keane, in typical fashion, could not understand how she had not thought ahead and ordered some more beforehand.
Steele, who didn't play a competitive game for United, was the only witness to the altercation and claims the woman was left in tears.
"I was in the canteen one day and there was a woman who worked in the kitchens," he told the Under The Cosh podcast.
"This is just an example to sum him up that sticks out in my head.
"He was like, 'Have we got any butter?' and she was like, 'Oh no, we've ran out, I've ordered some more.
"Roy's response was, 'What do you mean you've ran out today or you've ordered it today? She was like, 'Well we've ran out but don't worry Roy'.
"He proceeded to go off on one and he couldn't understand how she hadn't anticipated that they were running out of butter so that when they were running out, it was there.
"I'm listening and there was only us three in the canteen. He's going off, not swearing at all but he was intimidating with those eyes and the high-pitched Cork accent which haunts me now.
"The poor girl's in tears, she's crying but he couldn't believe she hadn't anticipated the butter running out. That was just him, he wanted the best for the club.
"It was very much a tiny situation but that's the kind of person he is."
Another instance on Keane completely losing my head came when he was partaking in a bonding quiz with the United squad.
It looked like everyone was really enjoying themselves. Except Keane.
Desperate to win, the Irishman was adamant that John, the quizmaster, was changing the questions and believed the whole quiz was rigged for Sir Alex Ferguson's team to win.
"You've fixed it man, you know you have. Cheating," he said as he stormed off.
