John Obi Mikel was, in his own words, "honoured" by the kind words of Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves - it's just a shame those words were fake.
The 35-year-old former Chelsea midfielder, who spent 11 years at Stamford Bridge between 2006 and 2017, took to Instagram to reveal his delight at the graphic.
"Back in Porto, we were given DVD's of John Obi Mikel to take home and study every day," the post read. "We used to call him the professor of football."
Don't get me wrong. Mikel enjoyed a trophy-laden spell at Chelsea, winning two Premier League titles, four FA Cups and two League Cups.
He also lifted 'that' famous Champions League win following their shootout victory against Bayern Munich in 2011/12, where Didier Drogba scored the winning penalty.
But did he really believe that young and upcoming players at FC Porto were given footage of his performances to analyse? Apparently so.
Neves, who became the youngest captain in Champions League history when he led his side out against Maccabi Tel Aviv, aged 18 years and 221 days, has become a key member of Wolves' Premier League squad since his move in 2017.
And he might want to thank John Obi Mikel for his success, according to these hilarious quotes.
Mikel last played for Kuwait Premier League side Kuwait SC but after playing just five games for the club, his contract was terminated in November.
The midfielder enjoyed his most prolific spell at Chelsea, where he was vital in their Champions League triumph in 2012 after playing a vital role throughout.
In the final, he was asked to step up as a deep-lying playmaker at the Allianz Arena and with John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic, Raul Meireles and Ramires all ruled out of the game with suspensions, Mikel stepped up to the mark.
Up against a midfield including Toni Kroos, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Thomas Muller in the middle, Mikel ran the show, both thwarting attacks from the trio and somehow finding the time to orchestrate Chelsea counterattacks.
