Newcastle United have been linked with a stunning move for Paris Saint German star Neymar in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Despite signing a new four year deal last year, the Brazilian’s future is believed to be up in the air, and his situation hasn’t been helped by the sensational U-Turn from Kylian Mbappe to sign a new deal at PSG.
With Mbappe now much higher in the pecking order both on and off the pitch, Neymar’s status at PSG is beginning to wilt, and a move away could be on the cards.

It is also believed that Neymar is a problem for the club’s new sporting director Luis Campos as he aims to rebuild the PSG squad.
According to French news outlet, L’Equipe, Newcastle would be interested in brining Neymar to the Premier League. Not many clubs can afford to have Neymar in their ranks due to his massive £490,000 per week salary, but Newcastle under the new Saudi ownership is one of a few clubs that can offer him that kind of money.
Bigger names such as Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid have also been linked but it is understood that none of them are looking to make a concrete offer to bring Neymar to their respective clubs.
His former club, Barcelona could be an option, this is what president Joan Laporta had to say about Neymar.

"Who doesn't love Neymar? He's exceptional player."
"But all these players to return to Barca one day should come for free. Players who have signed for clubs like PSG, have almost signed their slavery. For money."
Despite PSG being open to sell, it is also believed that Neymar is not actively looking to move away, he is determined to chase more trophies with the Parc des Princes club, especially the Champions League.
Newcastle have been thrown onto the list of potential suitors due to their ambition to push further up the Premier League table, with the owners aiming to win the league title in the long term. Adding a player like Neymar could provide a real spring in their step as they chase the clubs ahead of them.

Newcastle showed real intent in January after spending nearly £100 million to bring in the likes of Kieran Trippier and Bruno Guimaraes.
It remains to be seen whether Neymar will leave Paris, but there will be many clubs keeping tabs on his situation.
