The world's eight-richest person, Indian multi-billionaire Mukesh Ambani, is more likely bid for Arsenal than Manchester United or Liverpool, it has been claimed.
United and Liverpool are both available to buy, with their respective American owners exploring potential opportunities for investment or a total sale.
After 17 years of ownership, United's owners – the Glazer family – have announced their intention to "explore strategic alternatives" for the club "including new investment into the club, a sale, or other transactions".

Meanwhile, Liverpool's owners Fenway Sports Group (FSG) are also reportedly ready to sell up, 12 years are buying the Merseyside club, despite releasing a statement insisting they are "fully committed to the success" of the Reds.

He is also one of the few individuals who could bid for Manchester United, with the Glazers reportedly seeking between £6bn and £7bn.
However, Ambani is more likely to bid for Arsenal than the two north west clubs, claim The Athletic.
"Ambani's son Akash, 31, is, reported to be a big Arsenal fan and The Athletic has been told by sources who have to remain anonymous to protect business interests that the London club is the one the family would go for if they did enter the football world," read a report published on Monday.
The Mirror claimed last month that Ambani was considering a bid for Liverpool, with FSG reportedly seeking around £4bn for the club.

But Indian media outlet ABP News later claimed that a representative of Ambani's Mumbai-based Reliance Industries firm has branded the reports as 'fake'.
Several other parties, including a joint Saudi-Qatari consortium, are believed to be considering a bid for Liverpool.
United have also attracted interest from several potential bidders, including lifelong fan Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Zara owner Amancio Ortega.
Meanwhile, American giants Apple and Amazon have also been linked with potential takeover bids for the Premier League side.
