Liverpool ran out 5-3 winners over Villarreal on aggregate, while Los Blancos snatched victory from Manchester City with a 6-5 aggregate scoreline.
Salah admitted earlier this week he wanted to face Madrid in the final after having to go off injured in 2018 following a Sergio Ramos challenge.
The Egypt international watched on from the bench as the La Liga giants won the game 3-1 and their 13th European Cup overall.

As soon as Madrid were confirmed winners on Wednesday, Salah sent out a defiant message of 'We have a score to settle'.
That didn't please Hamann, who thinks the time for talking is after the game.
He told Sky Sports: "I saw the tweet and I’m not a big fan of it, I’ve got to say. What happened was unfortunate, I’m not sure it was Ramos’ intention to injure him.
"Obviously he pulled him down, it was unfortunate he had to come off.

"But as we know it took one or two goalkeeping mistakes [from Loris Karius] to swing the game into Real Madrid’s favour.
"I always prefer when players keep quiet, they can talk after the game. But I understand where he’s coming from. He said before the game he would rather play Madrid, he’s got that now so let’s hope he has a cool head."
Salah has been one of Liverpool's star performers this campaign and they still have a historic quadruple in their sights.
