Mohamed Salah has been slammed amid speculation Liverpool are interested in Juventus’ Federico Chiesa.
Liverpool have endured a terrible season. Jurgen Klopp’s side currently sit ninth in the Premier League, ten points from the top four and some 21 points adrift of Arsenal.
The club’s atrocious form has been in part down to a string of injuries and dips in form to key players.

Indeed Salah in particular has failed to hit the heady heights of previous years. The Egyptian has netted seven goals in 19 games this term, having scored over 20 goals in all but of his past Premier League campaigns.
Furthermore, in Salah’s last three fixtures, against Brentford, Brighton and Chelsea, he has managed just one shot, which was off target.
Salah slammed
Journalist Dean Jones skewered Salah’s recent performances upon learning of the player’s stats.

Jones told footballfancast: “That’s just insane. I don’t know what’s happened.
“I bet they wish they hadn’t signed him up to a new contract, they should have taken the money for him while it was there.
“He has fallen off a cliff.”
Salah was the Premier League’s joint-top scorer last season with 23 goals. However, the 30-year-old’s form has been in steep decline since he signed a three years deal worth around £350,000 last summer.
Liverpool linked to Chiesa
According to a Calciomercatoweb report, Liverpool are among several Premier League clubs interested in Chiesa.

Indeed, the publication claimed the Italian could cost as little as £53million. The 25-year-old suffered an ACL injury not long after his Euro heroics with Italy, which forced him out of action for the best part of a year.
The same report also claimed that Liverpool could be open to selling Salah to Paris Saint-Germain.
Salah could allegedly be offloaded to the French giants for around £70million, with the proceeds of the sale going back into the playing squad.
