Brandon Williams was given one of the toughest tests of his young career after coming up against Mohamed Salah on Saturday.
Williams was handed the unenviable task of trying to contain the Egyptian as Norwich faced in-form Liverpool at Anfield.
The 21-year-old left-back, who is on loan at Norwich from Manchester United, struggled at times during the first half as Salah threatened to run riot.

The Liverpool forward started the match at blistering pace and almost scored in the second minute, deceiving Williams with a neat piece of control in the box before firing an effort over the bar.
Norwich had the ball in the back of the net just a minute later but Milot Rashica’s effort was swiftly ruled out for offside.
Liverpool began to take control of the match, with much of their good play in the first half coming through Salah on the right-hand side of Liverpool’s front three.

He had Williams in trouble again after 18 minutes, twisting and turning on the wing before beating the defender and getting a shot away.
Fans were quick to comment on the perceived mismatch between Salah and Williams.
“Mo Salah twisting and turning sending Brandon Williams back to Man United,” wrote one fan on Twitter.
Another joked: “Salah will kill this Brandon Williams boy..
Williams was booked later in the half for a challenge on Luis Diaz.

Liverpool continued to dominate but were unable to find a breakthrough as Norwich made it through the half-time whistle without conceding.
The home side were given a huge scare at the start of the second half as Rashica gave Norwich a shock lead just minutes after the interval.
But goals from Sadio Mane, Salah and Diaz would secure Liverpool a crucial victory.
They move to within six points of Premier League leaders Manchester City, who take on Tottenham in the late kick-off.
