Lionel Messi has delivered his most amount of words in English in a new video, leaving fans amazed.
Messi is fluent in both Spanish and Catalan but in 2021, Messi told journalist Guillem Balague that he had been learning English for "a year and a half".
It appeared as though Messi was trying to learn the language in preparation for a mooted move to Manchester City.
The deal never happened and he instead moved to Paris Saint-Germain before ending up at currently club Inter Miami in the MLS.

Although Inter teammate Julian Gressel claims Messi does speak English, for a while fans had never heard it.
So much so that someone even used AI to recreate a scary video of Messi answering in English during a press conference.

Back in May, Messi did simply say "Bad Boys" in English during a Super Bowl advert alongside Will Smith and Martin Lawrence before he was turned away from the door in the skit.
Yet Messi has now delivered a longer sentence in English as part of his deal with Konami.
Konami's eFootball has replaced EA as FIFA's esports partner, with two FIFAe World Cup tournaments taking place.
In-game qualifiers have begun and Messi was used in the official promotional video.
