Lionel Messi is the most famous player at Inter Miami, but he is not the richest currently playing for the club.
Messi has raked in a reported $650 million throughout his career after winning eight Ballon d'Ors, 10 La Liga titles, four Champions Leagues, the Copa America and World Cup.
The 36-year-old moved Stateside last summer after spending two years with Paris Saint-Germain.

He's hoping to put the MLS on the map during his first full season with Inter Miami after establishing his legacy in Europe.
Despite being the biggest name in the club's short history, Messi doesn't have the most cash in the locker room.
That honour goes to 23-year-old Leonardo Campana, who is a billionaire thanks to his family in Ecuador.

Campana, formerly on the books of Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers, joined Miami in January 2022.
He never played a league game for Wolves and moved to Miami on an initial loan deal. Campana signed a permanent deal with The Herons in January 2023.
The forward is the son of former professional tennis player Pablo Campana, who represented Ecuador at the 1996 Olympic Games in the United States.

Pablo served as Minister of Commerce in the Ecuadorian government between 2017 and 2019 before founding Millenium S.A., a real estate developer. He currently serves as the CEO.
Campana's grandmother, Isabel Noboa, is the family member who got the ball rolling regarding serious money.
She is one of Ecuador's most prominent businesswomen thanks to several investments over the years.

Isabel studied at Harvard and University of London before setting up real estate, industrial, agricultural, tourism and commercial businesses.
Per the Daily Mail, Latin Trade say the family have a net worth of over $1 billion, which clears Messi's small fortune by quite a distance.
Inter Miami start their MLS season at home to Real Salt Lake on Thursday. Over the winter, they recruited Luis Suarez, who is a close friend of Messi.
