Lionel Messi only follows six football clubs on Instagram, with two currently playing in the Premier League.
The Inter Miami superstar follows 305 accounts on the social media platform.
In that follow count are current and former teammates, plus business ventures and sponsors.

Messi is one of the most-followed individuals on Instagram. He boasts 499 million followers and broke the record for likes when he posted a picture of him with the World Cup trophy in December 2022.
The 36-year-old, unlike most footballers, does not have an official account on X.
It means Instagram is his only form of social media. Naturally, people like to stay up to date with what he's up to.

Messi started following his current side shortly after completing a free transfer last summer. He also follows former club Barcelona and boyhood team Newell's Old Boys.
Interestingly, Messi no longer follows Paris Saint-Germain. His spell in France wasn't the best and he clashed with supporters regularly between 2021 and 2023.
In an interview with ESPN, he admitted playing in France was 'tough' on him and his family.

The eight-time Ballon d'Or winner explained: "This [Inter Miami] is what I was looking for when we made the decision with my family.
" To enjoy it once more, as I've done my whole career, after two difficult years, the truth is we had it rough.
"But as luck would have it, we're in a place where we're happy not just because of the results on the pitch but because of the everyday life with my wife, my kids, our lifestyle and the way we spend our time.

"Truth is, we're enjoying this moment very much."
Messi also follows Premier League giants Manchester City and Chelsea, two potential destinations if he did decide to move to England in the future.
Finally, the winger hasn't forgotten his roots and follows Rosario-based amateur side La Bajada 10.
