Manchester United were reportedly forced to intervene and 'correct' Mason Greenwood over his brutal criticism of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Greenwood pulled no punches behind the scenes at Old Trafford, where he slammed his academy teammates and club legend Ronaldo.
The Athletic has claimed he wasn't shy to call his academy teammates 'sh*t' during his youth career at Man United.

He also said Ronaldo was 'dead' while he was at Real Madrid, implying his career was finished.
The scathing put down of his academy colleagues and the five-time Ballon d'Or winner prompted Man United into action.
It's believed that the Red Devils had to 'correct' the forward over his language, but they thought his comments were a result of 'youthful delusion'.

A source said: "He knew he was a good player and was cutting, he wasn’t shy about telling someone they were sh*t.
"When you hear that you’d think, 'Can’t be talking like that'."
What's more. the 21-year-old threatened to join cross-town rivals Manchester City during tense moments in training, but ultimately snubbed their approach.

Greenwood remains suspended by Man United, pending an outcome of an ongoing internal investigation.
It comes after charges of attempted rape, assault and coercive control against were dropped in February after key witnesses withdrew their involvement in the case and new material came to light during a police investigation.
He released a short statement after the charges against him were dropped, which made no mention of his football career and plans for the future.

"I am relieved that this matter is now over and I would like to thank my family, loved ones and friends for their support," the statement reads.
"There will be no further comment at this time."
Greenwood has not played for Man United in over a year, with his last appearance for the club coming against West Ham on January 22, 2022.
In total, he has made 129 appearances, scoring 35 times.
