Fans are baffled that Marcus Rashford’s second goal has been given as he looked offside from the replays.
Going into the match against Leicester City on Sunday, United were looking to close the gap between themselves and the top two after Manchester City dropped vital points against Nottingham Forest.
Leicester had the first big chance after Harvey Barnes was denied one on one by David de Gea.

However, it was United who hit the front with Rashford scoring after a stunning pass from Bruno Fernandes.
In the second half, Erik ten Hag’s men continued to push for the second goal.
With 56 minutes on the clock, Rashford was played through and scored his second of the match.

However, the linesman’s flag was up for offside straight away, and the replays seemed to agree.
But VAR looked at it closely and decided that Rashford was onside. Which has surprised many fans.
One fan said: “Not joking here, genuine question but is the offside rule different for Rashford?”

Another added: “Sanitizer should’ve been off and now Rashford goal stands when it’s miles offside.”
A third fan commented: “Wasn't Rashford offside? Looked like his foot was in front of the Leicester player….?”
Someone else wrote: “So this season we've seen toenails been given offside, Rashford clearly offside and it gets given. Surprise surprise.”
Whilst a fifth said: “That Rashford goal was a mile offside. Weird how they spent 2 seconds with the lines on the screen.”

Jadon Sancho later made it 3-0 to the Red Devils after finishing off a fine team move.
As a result of the victory, United are now only three points behind City and five points behind league leaders Arsenal.
Up next for Ten Hag's men will be the second leg of their Europa League play-off tie against Barcelona, before they travel to Wembley to face Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final.
