Rumours Manchester United captain Harry Maguire will leave have re-emerged after the club were linked with Monaco defender Axel Disasi.
The United star has endured a torrid season at club level, having been dropped from Erik ten Hag's starting line-up after disastrous back-to-back losses against Brighton and Brentford in August.
Despite performing well at the World Cup with England, the 29-year-old has been again, subjected to the bench upon his return to United.

Indeed, in recent weeks even Luke Shaw, a left-back, has started alongside Raphael Varane in central defence, with Maguire languishing on the bench.

The publication has stated that multiple top-flight clubs are tracking the defender and initial negotiations have taken place with the Old Trafford club.
Disasi is also reportedly on the radar of West Ham and Tottenham, with the defender expected to leave Monaco either this month or in the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old’s performances for the Ligue 1 side have seen his stock sky-rocket in recent months.
Disasi was even called up to France’s World Cup squad in place of the injured Presnel Kimpembe, making his international debut in Les Bleus’ final group game in Qatar, against Tunisia. In doing so, he became the first French international debutant in a World Cup since 1966.
