Anthony Elanga could still leave Manchester United before the January transfer window slams shut, according to a fresh report.
The Old Trafford club appear to be on an upward trajectory for the first time in years.
They are on track to qualify for a crucial Champions League place and on the cusp of making the Carabao Cup final, where they have an opportunity to end a five-and-half-year trophy drought.

United’s resurgence has been led by the talismanic Marcus Rashford, who is in the best form of his career, having netted ten goals in his ten games since the Qatar World Cup.
Meanwhile, Erik ten Hag has persisted with £86million summer signing Antony on the right flank, despite the Brazilian’s inconsistent performances.
In turn, chances have been limited for fringe players like Elanga, with the Sweden international having been tipped for an exit throughout the January window.
Elanga to leave on loan
According to a fresh ESPN report, Ten Hag is prepared to let Elanga leave Old Trafford this month to build on his first team experience.

The publication claims that Borussia Dortmund is the most likely destination for the 20-year-old, whose only senior start since the World Cup was in the Carabao Cup against League 1 side Charlton Athletic.
Elanga has also been linked with Everton, though the Merseyside club are reportedly resigned to missing out on the player.
In the last week, Everton sacked their manager, Frank Lampard, with the club languishing in 19th in the Premier League, while Toffees owner Farhad Moshiri has reportedly put the club up for sale.
United are said to be reluctant to expose Elanga to the ongoing chaos and uncertainty at Goodison Park.
