It promises to be a busy summer transfer window for Manchester United, regardless of whether the club is sold by the Glazers.
Erik ten Hag has made a promising start as United manager, with the club on course to secure a top four finish in his first season at Old Trafford.
But United are some way short of title contenders Arsenal and Manchester City, and Ten Hag will need to bolster his squad in the summer if his side are to challenge next season.

ESPN claim United are at risk of breaching Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations after spending more than £200m on new signings last summer.
While it is claimed that while Ten Hag will have money available to him in the summer, a number players will need to be moved on if the Dutchman is to receive a significant war chest.
One such player who could be sold is defender Alex Telles, who is currently on loan at Spanish club Sevilla.

The 30-year-old left-back has failed to live up to expectations since joining United from Porto in a £15.4m move in 2020.
Telles loaned out after Hannibal brawl
After falling behind Luke Shaw and summer signing Tyrell Malacia in the United pecking order, Telles was loaned to Sevilla at the start of the campaign.
His departure was also the result of a training ground bust-up with teammate Hannibal Mejbri, which occurred last May – just before Ten Hag was appointed United manager.

Even though Ten Hag was not in charge at the time, he was informed of the situation and gave the green light for both Telles and Hannibal to be sent out on loan - with the younger player joining Birmingham City.
Telles has made 29 appearances in all competitions since moving to Sevilla and was part of the team that drew 2-2 with United in their Europa League quarter-final first leg at Old Trafford last week.
He is out of contract with United in 2024 and the Premier League club are likely to sell him this summer, rather than seeing him leave for free the following year.
Torcedores claim Brazilian club Flamengo are interested in signing Telles and have made initial contact with United over a deal for the Brazil international.

Flamengo recently hired Jorge Sampaoli as their new manager and the former Argentina boss is keen to stamp his mark on the squad.
Sevilla also have an option to sign Telles on a permanent deal this summer but the La Liga club are not expected to take this up, according to The Mirror.
