Social media presenter Mark Goldbridge has fumed at reports that Sir Jim Ratcliffe is now the Glazer family's preferred bidder to take over Manchester United.
The report came courtesy of The Sun on Wednesday evening, who claimed that the US merchant bank Raine Group, who are leading the negotiations over a sale, will announce the "winning bid" within a number of days.
Ratcliffe is competing with Qatar-based businessman Sheikh Jassim, who has launched an offer through his Nine Two Foundation believed to be worth over £5 billion.

There are also a number of other contenders, including former AC Milan owners Elliott Management, who have proposed acquiring a minority stake from the Glazers.
But the newest reports about the takeover process have left Goldbridge angry over Ratcliffe's bid - which, according to Sky News, would involve him taking majority control instead of a full scale takeover from the Glazers - and he gave his unfiltered views.

Speaking on The United Stand, Goldbridge, who supports the club, claimed: "Sir Jim and the Glazers are going to come up with some sort of spin that this is not what it was like in the past, that this is going to be really different.

"How it can be different when Joel and Avram are still there, and they are the two people that have destroyed this football club over the last decade especially? How can we believe this is going to be different when two people, who are very powerful, are still in the football club?
"I can't move past that. That is my biggest issue with Sir Jim Ratcliffe's bid. I can't move past the fact that you can say everything you like, but you only own just over half of this club, and Joel and Avram - who have destroyed this club over the last 10 years - are still very much part of it with a lot of power. I don't know how you move past that.
"I'm not saying Sir Jim would be a bad owner, but this is like Manchester United being offered Vinicius Junior and signing Harvey Barnes.
"In a footballing sense, that's how I feel about it in relation to our chances of being successful. I'm not saying Sir Jim would be terrible - there might be some positives. But I think a full sale is like buying Vinicius Junior. This thing is like buying Harvey Barnes. I think there is a world of difference between the two bids."
