Sheikh Jassim has offered a final 'take it or leave it' proposal to buy Manchester United through his Nine Two Foundation - but how much is the bid worth?

The Qatari businessman had submitted three bids for the club around each separate deadline set by the Glazer family. However, he submitted a fourth bid on Tuesday evening.

After the third bids, The Independent reported that Ratcliffe technically valued the club at a higher amount than Sheikh Jassim's bid, before claiming that the next 'seven to 10 days' could be decisive.

Over two weeks have passed since then, with United supporters still not knowing who will be the next owners of their club. Ratcliffe has tabled a proposal for majority control of the club from the Glazers, with Sheikh Jassim reportedly wanting a full takeover.

Here is the latest on Sheikh Jassim's proposal.

How much is Sheikh Jassim's Man Utd bid worth?

According to The Guardian, the Qatari businessman, through his Nine Two Foundation, has tabled a bid of no more than £5.5 billion to buy Manchester United, and it has been described by several outlets as a 'take it or leave it' offer.

If successful, it would be a world-record sale of a sports team, breaking the record set when a consortium co-led by Todd Boehly took over Chelsea for £4.25 billion last year.

Meanwhile, journalist Ben Jacobs claims the bid is inclusive of the pledged investment by Sheikh Jassim's foundation, which he says is to the value of $1 billion (£0.8 billion).

He has also reported, via sources, that the club valuation is in 'the same ballpark' as Ratcliffe's bid, which is around £5 billion.

A report from The Athletic claims that the Qatari bid includes wiping United's debt, which currently stands at over £500 million, with the pledged investment set back for the stadium and local community.

Whether Ratcliffe or Ineos responds to the latest bid remains to be seen.
