Manchester United fans slammed forward Mason Greenwood as being "selfish" for a moment in the first half against West Ham on Saturday afternoon.

The 20-year-old was on target in the 3-1 win over Brentford on Wednesday night but felt the wrath of supporters on social media early on in today's outing.

He was played in behind by Bruno Fernandes on the right but elected to take an extra touch and try and shoot.

Cristiano Ronaldo was open on the left and threw his arms up in frustration over Greenwood's decision to go for goal.

And United fans shared the same anger as Ronaldo displayed, with many feeling as though Greenwood is not playing for the team:

The academy product lasted 81 minutes in the stalemate before being taken off for Anthony Martial, who received a mixed reception when he entered the fray.

Marcus Rashford came off the bench to score a winner with the last kick of the game, giving United a huge three points in the race for the top four.

Ralf Rangnick's side have moved into fourth place ahead of West Ham with the win, one point ahead of the Hammers having played a game less.
