Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes 'irritated' his team-mates during and after the 7-0 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday, according to an explosive new report.
United conceded six second half goals in a capitulation at Anfield, and Fernandes was one of the Red Devils star who came in for heavy criticism after the match.
Gary Neville described the midfielder's display as 'embarrassing' on Sky Sports, explaining: "The second half has been an absolute disgrace, a shambles.

"They have not been epitomised more than Bruno Fernandes, who has been embarrassing - a shambles - in this game."
On his podcast, the United legend added: "The second half was an absolute disgrace. I'll start with the captain because you are the captain of the football club.
"Bruno Fernandes can wind you up sometimes because of the way he is, but that was appalling in the second half."

According to The Sun, manager Erik ten Hag has 'no plans' to strip Fernandes of the captaincy, meaning he will continue to fulfil the role when permanent skipper Harry Maguire is not on the pitch.
But it was certainly not an afternoon to remember for the 28-year-old, and some of his team-mates were reportedly not impressed.
Man Utd players 'irritated' after Liverpool defeat
According to the Daily Mail, sources from close to United have indicated there are 'reservations' inside the camp over whether the midfielder should become the permanent captain if Maguire departs this summer.

It is also claimed by the same report that United players - it is not made clear how many - were said to be 'irritated' by the behaviour of the midfielder, with his decision not to go over to the away supporters after full-time also viewed with 'negativity'.
The Mail also report that there is a feeling at United that Casemiro, David de Gea or Raphael Varane may be better choices to become the next United captain.
But De Gea's future is also uncertain, with the Spanish goalkeeper out of contract at the end of the season. United are in talks with him over a new deal that would likely see him take a pay cut, but an agreement is yet to be reached.
