RB Salzburg's Slovenian 'super talent' Benjamin Sesko has been compared to Erling Haaland by some, and you can understand why after seeing this finish.

The 19-year-old prospect, who has been linked with a big-money transfer to Manchester United and Newcastle this summer, netted a wonderful goal for the Austrian side in their pre-season clash against Liverpool on Wednesday.

In the 30th minute at the Red Bull Arena in Salzburg, the six-foot-four striker breezed past Ibrahima Konate before charging towards goal. He looked up, found teammate Noah Okafor and continued his run.

Okafor returned the favour with a great pass before Sesko slotted past Adrian with ease. He showcased power, speed and composure to give Salzburg the lead, and his contribution didn't go unnoticed.

Sesko is a monster of a talent. His physical attributes are great and his technical abillity is good as well. He's not slow either for a player of his stature.

Should sign him and loan him back to Salzburg.

Benjamin Šeško has really showcased why top clubs in Europe wants him this summer against Liverpool tonight. Incredible strength and size. Nice technique and smart movements. One goal to his name in the first half too. Very impressive, especially for being 19.

Sesko continued to cause Liverpool's backline some serious problems in the opening 45. In fact, just a couple of minutes before half-time, the teenager pulled off an audacious piece of skill to retain possession.

After bringing the ball down from high with a deft touch, he proceeded to send James Milner 'for a hotdog' with an incredible Zidane-like turn.

Even the commentators from Liverpool TV, who previously said they were "unsure" about his ability, praised the Slovenian for his quick feet in a tight area.

"I'll give him the benefit of the doubt," they said. "I wasn't quite sure initially."

As mentioned earlier, Football Manager-favourite Sesko has been linked with a move in recent weeks.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims Manchester United are 'well informed' on the player and consider him to be 'really talented', although a move is not said to be imminent.

Sesko's teammates at RB Salzburg, meanwhile, think he is the superior forward to Manchester City's Erling Haaland.

The 19-year-old explained in an interview: "Such comparisons motivate me and give me energy. They do not represent pressure. I will listen and learn so I can be even better than he is.

"My team-mates at the club tell me that Haaland and I are very similar, especially in terms of speed. Most of them even tell me that I’m better than him!"

Remember the name.
