Manchester United transfer target Max Aarons is said to be “very interested” in a move to Old Trafford.
The Red Devils go into the World Cup break fifth place in the Premier League, three points from the Champions League spots. Indeed, given Man Utd’s dismal start to the season, fans will be content with the club’s position after 14 games.
While Man Utd has appeared in disarray in recent days due to Cristiano Ronaldo’s bombshell interview, in which he admits feeling “betrayed” by the club and insists he has no respect for manager Erik ten Hag, the club have shown signs of progress in the past months.

Man Utd fans are hoping to further improve after the January window. To do so though they will have to rid themselves of wantaway forward Ronaldo, and bring in some new signings - including a right back.
Aarons keen on Man Utd switch
One player that does reportedly want to play for Man Utd is Max Aarons.
The Red Devils have reportedly been long-term admirers of the Norwich full-back and were one of eight clubs to have scouted the 22-year-old during England Under-21s victory over Germany at Bramall Lane in September.

Aarons, who has less than two years left on his contract, is also thought to be keen on a Man Utd move.
Eminent journalist Pete O’Rourke claimed: “Obviously, Max Aarons is a very good player and has been talked about for a long time now with a lot of top clubs across Europe.
“I’m sure, if Manchester United are looking at right-backs, he is on their list but quite how far up is open to debate.

“I think Max Aarons is a hungry player and I’m sure the chance to go to Manchester United is something that he would be very interested in.”
The Sun claim Aarons is valued at just £10 million by Norwich.
Last month ten Hag stressed his desire to have two full-backs vying for the right-back berth. While Diogo Dalot has shone this season, out of favour Aaron Wan-Bissaka has managed just four minutes in all competitions.
The Man Utd boss claimed: "We need two good full-backs [on the left and the right] because we have a lot of games to come."
