Cristiano Ronaldo's potential move out of Manchester United is being held up by one of the club's owners, with Joel Glazer wanting to keep the forward.
Ronaldo has been looking for a way out of Old Trafford all summer, a position that is becoming increasingly relatable considering they're bottom of the Premier League after two games.

There aren't currently any buyers for the 37-year-old but the club have also been, publically at least, unwilling to let him leave so far this summer.
That is apparently not the case any more, with reports claiming on Monday that United will now listen to offers for the five time Ballon d'Or winner.
However, according to the Manchester Evening News, United co-chairman, Joel Glazer, who has helped cost the club over a £1 billion, has personally been stopping any possible departure.
The younger of the Glazer brothers, who own the club, wants Ronaldo to stay, even though Erik ten Hag is receptive to the idea of losing the forward.

It is not the first time that the American has put his foot down over the potential sale of a forward, having previously been a huge admirer of Anthony Martial.
The 55-year-old had previously claimed that he saw the Frenchman as potentially being 'United's Pele' and didn't want to sell the former Monaco man.
He eventually gave his go ahead for the 26-year-old to leave Old Trafford last summer, although the striker eventually stayed until January before leaving on loan.

Martial has still not left permanently and would have started in Ten Hag's XI at the beginning of the season, with his injury eventually handing the starting spot back to Ronaldo.
Of course, even if the youngest United co-chairman does eventually decide that the club can do without Ronaldo then they still have to find a buyer.
The former Juventus forward only wants to play for a Champions League club but there isn't too many left at the top level to make a move for him.

Chelsea, Bayern Munich, PSG and Atletico Madrid are amongst those to have turned down making a move for him, the latter after fans revolted against the chance to sign the Real Madrid legend.
Gary Neville is worried that his former team are destined to finish in the bottom half of the league this season if they sell Ronaldo before the transfer window shuts.
Considering they're bottom after two games with him, it isn't exactly looking great either way...
