Manchester United target Joao Felix wants a move to Old Trafford according to a fresh report.
Erik ten Hag’s side is in the market for a new striker after the acrimonious departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portugal star left the club by mutual consent on the eve of the World Cup, after giving an explosive 90-minute to TalkTV, in which he claimed he failed “betrayed” by United and insisted he had no respect for manager ten Hag.

The Old Trafford club are said to be interested in the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s compatriot Felix as a replacement.
Atletico Madrid are looking to sell the 23-year-old, who has registered seven goals in 18 appearances for Atletico this term.
Off the pitch, Felix’s relationship with manager Diego Simeone has broken down and it is now likely the Portugal star, described by Kieran Trippier as “world-class”, will leave the Wanda Metropolitano.
Atletico CEO, Gil Marín, admitted: “João Felix has top level but because of his relationship with Simeone and game time… we feel that makes sense to consider potential bids to sell him. I’d love for Joao to continue, but this is the current situation.”
Felix wants Man Utd move
According to FootballTransfers Felix’s preference is to land a move to United, but the Old Trafford club faces competition from Newcastle United. Meanwhile reports in Spain have also linked the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Aston Villa to the forward.

Felix, who was named Atletico Madrid Player of the Year last term, shares the same agent as Ronaldo. The publication claims the player “strongly desires” a move to Old Trafford.
However, United will reportedly need to be in a “secure position” in the Premier League table come January to outmuscle their European counterparts. Ten Hag’s side currently sit in fifth place, three points from Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League spots.
PSG reportedly hold the strongest interest in the player, but their star-studded front three would offer Felix little opportunity for game time.
Meanwhile, Newcastle boss Eddie Howe allegedly wants to learn more about Felix’s personality before making a move for the player. Meanwhile, Felix is said to be uncertain about joining a side whose project is still in its infancy.
