Manchester United are reportedly planning to offer Marcus Rashford a new contract despite having an option to extend his current deal by a further year.
Rashford, 25, has rediscovered his best form this season, already managing eight goals and three assists for United in all competitions.
He was named in England's 26-man squad for the World Cup earlier this month and came off the bench to score in their 6-2 win over Iran in their opening match on Monday.

The striker's current contract is due to expire next summer, although United hold an option to extend it by a further.
However, the Premier League club are said to be planning to offer him a longer deal to guarantee his services for several further years.
"Manchester United will offer Marcus Rashford a new deal, it’s part of their plans,” said transfer expert Fabrizio Romano told CaughtOffside.
"Even though his current contract expires in 2023, nothing is expected to end next summer as Man Utd have the option of a clause to extend his contract for one more year.

Journalist Simon Phillips has claimed on his Substack that Rashford has been "unsettled" by Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival at Old Trafford.
"Off the back of Thomas Tuchel’s recommendation, Chelsea looked at Rashford as an option in the summer," wrote Phillips.
"His contract situation is an interesting one, and he has been unsettled since Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival.
"I'm told Chelsea are still keeping an eye on the situation still now, even after Tuchel's departure."
