Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Belgium and Brighton attacker Leandro Trossard, according to reports.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s tumultuous departure from Man Utd has distracted from the club’s resurgent form.
After a calamitous start to the season, Erik ten Hag’s side now sit in fifth place, just three points from the Champions League spots.

Man Utd have reportedly registered an interest in a number of players for the January transfer window, as the Old Trafford club attempts to bolster attacking options. Brighton’s in-form attacker Trossard is the latest to be linked.
Man Utd “offered” chance to sign Trossard
CBS journalist Ben Jacobs has claimed that Man Utd are one of a number of clubs to have been offered Trossard.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT the journalist said: “We’ll have to wait and see whether United decide to look a little bit closer to home and see whether there’s that shorter term and closer to home goalscorer that they might be able to attract.
“We know, for example, that Trossard at Brighton is being put in the shop window by his agent. He’s been offered to Manchester United, he’s been offered to Liverpool and he’s been offered to Chelsea. Liverpool are not interested.

“Manchester United haven’t really bitten, but given the [Cristiano] Ronaldo situation, we have to wait and see if they consider a player like him, somebody gettable, somebody that is in good form and somebody that can just tide them over and continue the momentum that they’re building under Erik ten Hag between now and the summer, at which point they can then come in for a big name.”
What Trossard has said
Trossard, who is currently representing Roberto Martinez’s Belgium at the World Cup, has been in electric league form this term. The Brighton star has netted seven times in 14 Premier League appearances, and provided three assists.
The 27-year-old scored three of those goals against Liverpool in a pulsating 3-3 draw at Anfield in October.

On the prospect of leaving Brighton, and potentially linking up with former manager Graham Potter at Chelsea, Trosaard told Het Laatste Nieuws: “Chelsea have, in any case, not yet reported, not with Brighton and not with me. I have to wait and see.”
If Trossard were to leave Brighton he will cost around £30million.
