Manchester United have no intention of allowing Harry Maguire to join Newcastle on a loan deal, according to reports, although another Premier League club have 'a better chance' of making it happen.
The 30-year-old defender, who made just eight starts in the league for Erik ten Hag's side this season, has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer after a lack of first-team minutes.
Maguire is 'on the radar' of Premier League trio Newcastle, Spurs and Aston Villa, according to The Sun. In fact, Eddie Howe's side wanted to 'rescue' the former Leicester man by bringing him in on loan.
But the Reds will turn down any loan bid from Newcastle in particular as they don't want to help out a top-four rival without being financially rewarded.

That being said, United would be open to a cash offer from the Magpies, and other clubs who are interested, including Europa Conference League hopefuls Aston Villa.
Unai Emery's side are said to be tracking developments surrounding Maguire's future at Manchester United with interest as they want to bolster their squad ahead of next season's European campaign.
The report also states that Villa would have a better chance of a loan deal being accepted by United.

Another club who reportedly have 'concrete' interest in Maguire are Spurs.
Tottenham have already contacted United over a move for the centre-back, according to the Daily Mail, and could press ahead with their pursuit following the appointment of Ange Postecoglou.
Maguire, meanwhile, reportedly wants to stay at Old Trafford this summer and fight for his place, which could impact Erik ten Hag's transfer plans ahead of a possible £51 million move for Napoli defender Kim Min-jae.
