Manchester United are 'working to persuade' Cristiano Ronaldo to withdraw his request to leave the club.
Ronaldo, who has one year left on his current contract, wants a move away from Old Trafford this summer.
He's asked to be allowed to leave Man United should they receive a 'satisfactory offer' during the transfer window.

However, Man United's chief executive Richard Arnold is 'working to persuade' the 37-year-old to change his mind and remain at the club ahead of the new season.
Arnold, who replaced Ed Woodward this year, is understood to have impressed the superstar forward's team by the manner in which he has handled his transfer request, according to The Times.

The Portugal international scored an impressive 24 goals across all competitions last season.
But the Red Devils finished outside of the Champions League spots, eventually ending up in sixth place in the Premier League.
Ronaldo will not be part of Man United's pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia due to 'personal issues'.
Speaking ahead of his side's friendly against Liverpool, Erik ten Hag insists the player is not the sale and is in his plans.

"We are planning with Ronaldo for this season - that's it. I'm looking forward to working with him," he revealed.
Asked if Ronaldo wants to quit Man United, Ten Hag replied: "He hasn't told me this. I have read, but as I say, Cristiano is not for sale, he's in our plans and we want to get success together.
"I spoke with him before this issue came up. I had a conversation with him and had a real good talk."
Man United begin their 2022/23 campaign at home to Brighton on August 7.
