Fulham star Aleksandar Mitrovic has reportedly dented his chances of a move to Manchester United after his crazy red card at Old Trafford.
Last weekend, with Fulham leading 1-0 courtesy of Mitrovic himself, things began to unravel in the 72nd minute.
After Willian was adjudged to have handled Jadon Sancho’s goal-bound shot, the Brazilian saw red along with Fulham boss Marco Silva, who was sent off for mouthing off at the referee.

To make matters worse for the London club, the red mist descended on Mitrovic as he furiously shoved the referee, which led to his dismissal.
Mitrovic’s red card is likely to result in a lengthy ban as the FA is currently investigating having officially charged the Serbian.
There have been calls for Mitrovic to be banned for at least 10 matches, which will mean his season could be over. A decision is expected soon regarding the length of the ban.

Furthermore, his crazy moment at Old Trafford may have cost him a shock move to United.
According to the Daily Star, the Red Devils are lining up a big-money bid to lure Mitrovic to Manchester.
United boss Erik ten Hag is reportedly impressed with the 28-year-old’s 11 Premier League goals plus last season’s record-breaking Championship tally of 43.

Mitrovic could be the alternative to Wout Weghorst, who could return to parent club Burnley in the summer when his loan deal expires.
However, it is believed that Ten Hag and United are now taking Mitrovic off their list due to his lack of discipline on the pitch.
The likes of Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona were also amongst the clubs keeping tabs on the Fulham man.
Since moving to Craven Cottage from Newcastle back in 2018, Mitrovic has gone on to score 94 goals in 169 appearances across all competitions for Fulham, whilst being named the club’s player of the year on two occasions.
