It has been claimed that Manchester United star Casemiro got himself yellow-carded deliberately during the Premier League clash against Crystal Palace.
On Wednesday night, Erik ten Hag’s men endured a difficult time at Selhurst Park as they were pegged back right at the death.
United took the lead after 43 minutes thanks to a well-taken goal by Bruno Fernandes, but Michael Olise pulled something out of the very top drawer in added time as his stunning free-kick ripped into the back of the net to secure a hard-earned 1-1 draw.

One of the main talking points from the match was Casemiro’s booking in the 81st minute. The Brazilian came into the match knowing that a yellow card will mean he misses the crucial clash against league leaders Arsenal on Sunday.
Wilfried Zaha managed to find space to drive towards the United backline in the 81st minute and Casemiro lunged in late.
Referee Robert Jones was left with no choice but to book the 30-year-old.

Now, Arsenal fan Piers Morgan thinks Casemiro got booked deliberately so that he doesn’t have to face Thomas Partey on Sunday.
Morgan tweeted: “I think Casemiro got himself deliberately booked to avoid proving me right.”
This comes after former United defender Rio Ferdinand claimed that Casemiro “wipes the floor” with Partey ahead of the much-anticipated clash.

Ferdinand said: “I think the importance to their teams… you could argue both sides quite equally – but then, when you throw the stats in, Casemiro wipes him away.
“I don’t think Partey could do what Casemiro does. I don’t think Partey is good enough defensively to do what Casemiro is doing.
“I don’t think he has the impact defensively [for Arsenal as Casemiro has] for Man United.”
Morgan then fired back, he said: “If you genuinely think Partey isn’t as good as Casemiro then you’re in for a nasty shock on Sunday when he bullies your guy into submission and I get this trending again.”
