Manchester City Owners Told To "Sell Up And Leave" Premier League By Comedian

Arsenal fan Alan Davies was not happy with Manchester City following his team's loss to the Abu Dhabi owned club and went on a huge rant.

Manchester City's win over Arsenal last weekend angered comedian and Gunners' fan Alan Davies so much that he went on a huge rant against the club's billionaire owners.

In the eyes of many Arsenal fans, their team were on the end of a controversial loss to City last weekend, thanks to two penalty calls that went against them.

First Martin Odegaard wasn't given a penalty, after Ederson looked to have tripped him in the box, and then City were awarded a spot kick, due to Granit Xhaka's silly challenge on Bernardo Silva.

Gabriel's red card, with the first yellow card coming after he scuffed the penalty, also angered fans of Mikel Arteta's team, and the last minute winner from Rodri didn't help their mood.

Davies has gone one step further with his anger though, and told the City owners to get out of the Premier League, diminishing all of Pep Guardiola's team's successes.

"There is a stink of Manchester City in our league and I just wish this mob had bought a club in another league," Davies said on The Tuesday Club podcast.

"Go buy Borussia Monchengladbach, take them past Bayern Munich to the top of... whatever their league's called, just do that...the Bundesliga.

"Do that, go buy someone else. Get out of our league. We do not want your money.

"Don't pretend you are playing great stuff and Guardiola's a genius and this is amazing, we're so privileged to see you... get out of our league.

"You're not wanted here. You're not wanted. Sell up and leave. You've had your fun, go away.

"No one wants the oil b****** money, no one wants to see this."

Davies, who is most well known these days for his time on QI as the comedy idiot, was condemned by many fans for the comments, that many believed were racist and xenephobic.

Davies bizarrely criticised City for their attitude towards their opposition and to Arsenal, who the comedian referred to as an 'institution to the country.'

The 55-year-old, sounding every bit the bitter old man, went on to say that the club 'stank of money' and called them 'filthy cheats.'

Lastly the former Jonathan Creek star hit out at Jack Grealish, saying, "You have a £100 million moron gurning away on the bench, grinning at Arsenal fans basically taking the p*** out of us... who's happy because he can't get in the side, you're not even playing!

"You've ruined your career, Grealish!"

Calm down Alan, it was only a 2-1 loss...
