Manchester City fans feared for the worst after seeing a training incident involving star striker Erling Haaland.

Now, they are one step away from winning the treble as they take on Inter Milan in the Champions League final on Saturday night.

To date, he has scored 52 goals in 52 appearances across all competitions for City.
As the final edges ever closer, he has the chance to fire City to European glory for the first time in their history.
Ahead of the match, City boss Pep Guardiola spoke about comparisons between his team and Manchester United’s treble winners in 1999.
He said: “In my opinion what I remember, because I was a little boy, was how good they were. This is my first feeling. Ryan Giggs, David Beckham, Roy Keane, three or four strikers, [Andy] Cole, [Dwight] Yorke, [Teddy] Sheringham, Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer].

“I remember how good they were, otherwise you cannot achieve it. Apart from the quality they had, you have to be a special mentality, special characters of the team, the manager, the history of Old Trafford.”
Guardiola added: “These kinds of things always help to do these kinds of things. I don’t know how many years English football is in this world, but for only one team to do it, that means how difficult it is to do it.”
