Luka Modric produced a moment of magic in the build-up to Real Madrid's second goal against Paris Saint-Germain.
Modric grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck and carried the ball with a majestic run, taking out a slew of PSG players.

The 36-year-old picked up the ball just outside his own box and went on a run as he took out PSG's midfield in a sublime moment.

But the Croatian midfielder wasn't content with just carrying the ball as he pierced a lovely through pass to Vinicius Junior who eventually returned the ball to the man himself.
Modric then brilliantly picked out Benzema who smashed home to level the tie 2-2.

His run and passes to Vinicius Jr. and Benzema sent social media into overdrive.
One Twitter user wrote: "36 y/o doing this on a CL night against a 'Super team'. Simply the best."
A second tweeted: "Incredible. Vinicius Jr also excellent - and Benzema with the clinical finish. Real sliced through PSG with the precision of a surgeon."
A third added: "Best CM in the world not a question. GOAT midfielder."
A fourth commented: "That run split the mid and defense of PSG."

What a comeback and Karim Benzema is obviously absolutely lethal. But Luka Modric there; that challenge on Lionel Messi, the run to tee up Vinícius Junior. And the guy’s 36 years old. The beating heart of this Real Madrid side.

Where does Luka Modric sit in the all time midfielder ranks? Guy is timeless man, he’s 36…

Of course, after making it 2-1 on the night, Benzema made it 3-1 straight from the kick-off to book Real's spot in the next round.
