Luka Modric and Casemiro swapped shirts as they headed down the tunnel at half-time in Friday's World Cup quarter-final clash between Croatia and Brazil.
It was a relatively tame affair at the Education City Stadium and to put the first 45 minutes into perspective, the biggest talk point happened after referee Michael Oliver blew his whistle.
Modric, who has been one of Croatia's standout players this tournament, was on his way to the dressing room when he turned around to greet former Real Madrid teammate Casemiro.

After nodding their heads, both men agreed to swap shirts – a moment that got people talking on social media.
Many, of course, wanted Roy Keane's take on the shirt swap at half-time. Here's how Twitter reacted to the incident.
One fan commented: "Someone get Roy Keane on the BBC coverage quickly, Modric and Casemiro have swapped shirts at half time," while another said: "Modrić and Casemiro swapped shirts at the half. Oh, the nostalgia…"

A third wrote: "Half-time shirt swaps are cringy, make it stop."
A fourth said: "When you’ve won five Champions League medals together, you can do whatever you want."
Keane is definitely not a fan of swapping shirts. In fact, he regrets the one instance he did ask an opposition player to trade jerseys.

In the summer of 1994, ahead of the World Cup, Ireland beat Germany in a warm-up fixture and Keane reluctantly asked Matthias Sammer for his shirt.
He claims he did it out of politeness more than anything but the 1996 Ballon d'Or winner refused the offer, much to Keane's anger.
"I've asked one player to swap a jersey, which I regret," Keane said in a must-watch episode of Gary Neville's The Overlap podcast.
"We played Germany with Ireland, pre World Cup 94 in a friendly. It was after the game, and we beat them to be fair.

"He was walking off and I was only being polite. It was the sweeper, [Matthias] Sammer, and he said no. I went 'ya fucking prick' anyway.
"That was it. I just thought 'I shouldn't be asking anybody'. I was only being polite, it's not that I wanted his jersey."
Thoughts on the shirt swap at half-time?
