West Ham are set to hold transfer talks with Liverpool target Arnaut Danjuma, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Danjuma burst onto the world stage last season during an outstanding season at Villareal, in which he scored 16 goals across 34 appearances in all competitions.
The Dutch winger was a key part of the Spanish side's run to the Champions League semi-finals, in which they were knocked out to Liverpool in a 5-2 thriller over two legs.

But recent reports suggest that West Ham set to hold personal talks with the Dutch international in a deal that would see Danjuma return to the Premier League.
The forward featured in the Premier League 14 times for Bournemouth, but it was his Championship campaign at the Cherries where he hit the ground running, scoring 15 goals in 33 appearances.

Despite not agreeing a fee yet, Danjuma is set to cost the Hammers around £37.5 million.
In today’s market it can be considered a reasonable price, considering the importance of Danjuma to Villareal.
The Hammers have already shown their strong intent in the transfer market, having recently signed 26-year-old centre-back, Nayef Aguerd, for £30 million.
West Ham want to make Danjuma their marquee signing and are intent on getting the deal over the line as soon as possible in order to fend off interest from some of Europe’s top clubs.

As it stands, West ham will not have to worry about interest from Liverpool, who will not be looking to sign another attacker, unless there were to be a surprise departure.
The tricky winger, who is international teammates with Liverpool’s Virgil Van Dijk, is aware of Liverpool’s ‘interest’ in him and would not be against signing for the Reds in the future.
Speaking to Dutch broadcasters, Ziggo sport, he had this to say: "I was informed that Liverpool were following me closely."
"I have never had contacts with clubs or anything like that during the season - I always know about the situation after the season.”

"I will never lie and I think it’s a bad quality if you are not ambitious."
"If a club came along that offered me a higher platform to play on sport-wise, I would always have to consider it."
