Liverpool have submitted an informal bid worth €60 million for Real Madrid forward Rodrygo, according to reports from Spain
Rodrygo, who contributed towards 15 goals for Real Madrid across 43 La Liga and Champions League appearances last season, is believed to be unsettled at Los Blancos.
The Spanish capital side were said to be open to letting the Brazillian leave this summer before their efforts to sign Kylian Mbappé fell through.

However, with Mbappé option to stay at PSG instead of move to Real, it is unclear whether Rodrygo remains available for transfer.
The 21-year-old, who El Nacional believe Liverpool have bid €60 million for, would add further depth to the Merseyside club's attack, which has already lost Divock Origi and Sadio Mané this summer.

Despite the losses in attacking areas, Jürgen Klopp is believed to be happy with the attacking options at his disposal.
After all, two fresh faces have been added to the Anfield club’s forward ranks.
Darwin Nuñez comes in as a direct replacement for Mané, while Fabio Carvalho will look to provide competition in wide areas.

Nuñez of course also joined Liverpool at some price, a deal worth up to £85.5 million saw the Uruguayan switch Portugal for England, so there might not be all that much money left to spend at Anfield this summer.
That said, Liverpool could be tempted by a player of Rodrygo’s calibre.
The youngster has never been able to establish himself as a regular at Real Madrid, but he’s shown flashes of his quality throughout his Real career.
His last-gasp equalising header against Manchester City not long ago goes down as one of the moment of the 2021/22 football season.

With plenty of room to improve at such a young age, Liverpool fans would surely rather see their club bring in Real Madrid’s Rodrygo over Marco Asensio who has also been linked with a move to England’s north-east.
Nevertheless, taking into account Liverpool’s economic situation after signing Darwin Nuñez, this might be one the Merseyside club chooses to pursue further down the line.
