Liverpool are reportedly interested in completing a summer move for PSG midfielder Renato Sanches - who was once described as having had 'the worst 45 minutes in Premier League history' whilst at Swansea.
Sanches came through the youth academy at Benfica, and earned the Young Player of the Tournament award at Euro 2016 after helping Portugal to lift the trophy.
Prior to the tournament, he had already agreed a contract with German giants Bayern Munich, and joined them for an initial fee of €35 million.

His first season in Germany didn't quite go to plan, however, and he moved to Swansea on loan for the 2017/18 season.
But he also struggled to make an impression in the Premier League, making just 12 appearances before an injury suffered in January ruled him out for the remainder of the campaign.
One of those appearances was in a match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, with his performance dubbed the worst 45 minutes in Premier League history by The Sun.
He was substituted at half time, shortly after infamously passing the ball to a red part of the advertising board instead of a team-mate in a red shirt.

But Sanches has gone on to showcase his huge potential. He joined Lille in 2019 and won the Ligue 1 title with the club in his second season.
That earned him a move to PSG, where he has scored twice in 16 appearances this term but has suffered numerous injuries.
And he could soon be on the move again.
Liverpool interested in Sanches
According to Football Insider, the 25-year-old central midfielder is on a shortlist of players Liverpool will look to sign this summer.

It is claimed that PSG are willing to allow the Portugal international to leave the club, alerting Liverpool to the fact that a move may be possible.
Manager Jurgen Klopp is said to be a 'long-term admirer' of the midfielder, and he may be a strong alternative to Jude Bellingham after the Reds were priced out of a move for the Borussia Dortmund star.
The transfer could draw hallmarks to current Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, who struggled during his first spell in the Premier League before succeeding in another top European league prior to his return.
Sanches could do likewise next season and add another much-needed dimension to the Reds midfield through his box-to-box abilities.
