Liverpool are considering a move for Napoli forward Hirving Lozano, according to reports in Italy.
The Mexico international, who made three appearances for his nation at the World Cup in Qatar, has 18 months left on his current deal with Napoli.
Lozano, 27, has scored 30 goals in 133 games for the Italian club since joining from PSV Eindhoven in 2019.

Liverpool in 'pole position' to sign Lozano
Italian outlet Calciomercato claim that Lozano has attracted interest from several Premier League sides, with Liverpool said to be in "pole position" to sign the Mexican.
The report does not specific whether Liverpool are considering a move for Lozano in January, or whether they will wait until the summer transfer window to make an approach.

Liverpool are in need of attacking reinforcements, with Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz currently sidelined through injury.
Diaz is not expected to return until March after suffering a setback in his recovery from a knee injury sustained against Arsenal in October.
Meanwhile, Jota could be sidelined until early February as he continues his recovery from a calf problem.
A number of potential replacements for Lozano have already been identified, should he leave the club.
