Liverpool are interested in signing Atletico Madrid star Marcos Llorente as Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster his options in the middle of the park, according to Fichajes,
The Reds are said to be preparing their final move of the window for Llorente, and their interest stems from the ongoing injury crisis at the club.
Midfielder Thiago suffered a hamstring issue on the opening weekend against Fulham whilst Naby Keita picked up yet another problem before Monday’s game against Manchester United.

The injury crisis combined with Liverpool’s poor start to the season could see them bring in some new faces before the end of the window and Marcos Llorente is one on the club's radar.
Reports from AS state that Atletico are reluctant to lose any more players this summer and have turned down monster bids for Joao Felix, Alvaro Morata, Matheus Cunha and Llorente himself, so any move for the Spaniard would have to be through a release clause.

Liverpool might therefore have to pay an astonishing £101 million in order to secure Llorente’s signature.
As well as their desperate need for a new midfielder, Klopp will likely be impressed with the versatility of Llorente, who has featured in midfield, defence and even on the wing under Diego Simeone.
The 16 capped Spanish international famously scored a brace at Anfield to knock the Reds out of the Champions League during the 2019/20 season.
