Liverpool are likely to chase the signing of Chelsea star Mason Mount as an alternative to Jude Bellingham this summer, according to a football agent.
The Reds have been heavily linked with Bellingham throughout this season, and it is an interest that dates back to his time at Birmingham.
The 19-year-old midfielder is in talks with Dortmund over a new contract at Signal Iduna Park, but there is concern in Germany that he will not sign a new deal.

Dortmund sporting director and former club captain, Sebastian Kehl, said (quotes via Goal): "There has been no new development. We'll have to be patient for a little longer.
"But of course we're trying to keep Jude Bellingham at Borussia Dortmund as long as possible because he's an incredibly important player who has shown once again this season how he identifies with this club and makes the team better."
Bellingham has a contract with the German side until 2025, meaning there is no immediate need to sell. However, Dortmund may decide to cash in if it becomes clear he will not commit to fresh terms.

It has been reported that the club's asking price stands at £130 million, which would smash Liverpool's transfer record. But Football Transfers claim that due to their lack of spending in January, funds are be available to spend on Bellingham if required.
However, it appears Liverpool are still eyeing alternatives to the England star.
Liverpool keen on Bellingham alternative
Football agent Haydn Dodge believes that the Reds are keeping tabs on fellow Three Lions international Mount, who is currently at Chelsea.

He is in talks over a new deal, with Blues co-owner Todd Boehly said to be taking a leading role in negotiating Mount's contract.
But The Telegraph's Mike McGrath claimed last week that some figures at Chelsea are 'resigned' to the 24-year-old not signing a new deal at Stamford Bridge, and Liverpool have been linked with an interest in prising him away from the club.
Speaking to Yard Banker, Dodge said: "[Mount] has been at Chelsea since he was a young lad, but he'll be looking at the Blues' project and wondering if he's going to be a guaranteed starter.
"His camp will be aware that he's an England international too, and therefore be trying to maximise his next contract, so it'll be interesting to see what the outcome is.

"I know Liverpool quite like him, and I personally believe he'd be perfect for Jurgen Klopp and his system. You'd also assume Mount would be a cheaper alternative option to Jude Bellingham, so they may well be keeping very close tabs on his situation to see how it develops."
