Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy believes Jurgen Klopp should sign both Jude Bellingham and Declan Rice this summer.
The Reds have been stretched in midfield this season following a plague of injuries to the squad. Meanwhile, the likes of Naby Keita, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are all out of contract in the summer.
Fans were calling out for midfield recruits this January, but the club were only able to land Dutch forward Cody Gakpo.

Liverpool have been linked with Bellingham since his impressive performances for England at the World Cup in Qatar, and even dating back to his time at Birmingham, with Anfield thought to be his most-likely destination.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano said that the club were in pole position to land Bellingham in the summer.
Speaking on his Youtube channel Born and Red on Monday evening, Romano stated: “Jurgen Klopp is obsessed with the Jude Bellingham transfer and is making calls every single day.

“Liverpool are really really pushing for Jude Bellingham and are having contact on the players' side and with Borussia Dortmund."
"I'd try and get them both"
However, Murphy reckons the club shouldn't just pursue Bellingham, but also go after West Ham midfielder Rice.
The 24-year-old, who is also thought to be a target of Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, looks set to leave the Hammers in January after turning down a new contract at the club.

And Murphy has urged Klopp to try and sign both, believing that there's 'a rebuild needed' at the club.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Murphy said: "I think there's a rebuild needed. The midfield area is going to need freshening up.
"I'd love Bellingham to happen because he is exactly what they need. But I don't think they necessarily just need one. I think they probably need two.
"Ox [Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain] is out of contract, I wouldn't be surprised to see [Naby] Keita go, and I'm not sure [James] Milner is going to stay another year.

"I'd go for Bellingham and Rice, I'd try and get them both. I think why not go hard or go home, but on two big ones, rather than four or five.
"Imagine Rice and Bellingham walk into that Liverpool midfield with Thiago."
